These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and legal service offerings provided by LegalTopInsight. By using our site or booking services with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and applicable laws of Canada.

1. Who We Are

LegalTopInsight is a Canadian legal service provider focused on elder law, estate planning, and senior legal support. Services may be provided by licensed legal professionals, notaries, and legal consultants.

2. Scope of Services

• Preparation of wills, powers of attorney, health directives
• Assistance with government benefit applications
• Estate consultations and family planning sessions
• Document storage and notarization coordination

We do not offer court representation or litigation services unless expressly stated in writing.

3. Client Eligibility

Services are available to individuals aged 18+ who are legally able to enter into a contract. For services involving seniors with diminished capacity, a legal representative or guardian must be involved.

4. Appointments & Home Visits

Home consultations are available in select regions of Ontario and BC. Travel fees may apply. All appointments are scheduled with consent and confirmation by phone or email.

5. Payments & Fees

• All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes
• Fees are payable in advance or at time of service, unless invoiced by agreement
• Receipts and itemized invoices are provided upon request

6. Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee.

7. Confidentiality & Privacy

We protect all client information in accordance with Canada’s PIPEDA and our Privacy Policy. Your information is never shared without your written consent unless required by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

We provide non-litigation legal services on a best-effort basis. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question. We are not responsible for indirect damages or missed legal outcomes based on client inaction.

9. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms as laws or services change. You are encouraged to review them regularly. Continued use of our services implies consent to updated terms.
