Refund Policy

Effective Date: May 16, 2025

At LegalTopInsight, we believe in fairness, clarity, and respect. Because legal services often involve preparation time and document creation, our refund policy is based on the stage of service delivery.

1. Services Eligible for Refund

• Prepaid appointments cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice
• Duplicate payments or technical billing errors
• Service requests paid for but not yet scheduled or started

2. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are non-refundable once initiated or completed:

• Completed legal consultations (in-person or virtual)
• Prepared or delivered legal documents (wills, POAs, directives)
• Home visits completed or in progress
• Administrative fees for document storage or mailing

3. How to Request a Refund

Please email billing@legaltopinsight.com within 7 days of payment, including:

• Your full name and contact details
• Service description or invoice number
• Reason for the request

We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days.

4. Payment Reversals

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used. We do not offer cash refunds. If payment was made by e-transfer, we will return funds via e-transfer as well.

5. Chargebacks

If you believe a payment was made in error, please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension or administrative dispute fees.
